your info would be useful but you forgot to write in which day the markets are held, you just put the opening hours but we need to knwo which day.

    thank you

    • Hi Ann, thanks for your message. Unfortunately, I did not manage to lay hand on opening days for all flea markets in Tokyo. However, we have created a directory specifically dedicated to flea markets worldwide; the “Japan flea markets” directory (which regroups more than 30 listings for antique fairs and flea markets in Tokyo and Yokohama), features, together with a description of the venue as well as how to access it, its opening days whenever available. You can find it here: http://www.fleamapket.com/listing-region/asia/japan/

    • Hey Clarinick, thanks for stopping by!

As far as we know (and heard), the Yoyogi Flea Market is where you want to go to find vintage designer bags & goods. According to this article by Tokyofashion.com http://tokyofashion.com/yoyogi-flea-market/, “The Yoyogi Flea Market is open only to sellers of recycled/used goods. The purpose of the market is to promote the environmentally-friendly practice of reselling usable goods rather than throwing them away. No professional sellers are allowed, which gives the market the feel of a hip garage sale. All sorts of clothing and accessories can be found – from acid wash to leather jackets and purses to vintage concert tees to sequined dresses.”

Also, do not forget that “the early bird catches the worm”. And this applies to the Yoyogi Flea Marketas to any other flea markets in the world! Professional dealers in Tokyo (who own vintage shops in the capital city), regularly go to the the Yoyogi Flea Market to find hidden gems to refurbish their stock of vintage designer bags & goods…

Going to Tokyo in May. Staying in Shibuya, want to go to flee market in Yoyogi park. Is there any dates for market in May?

    • Hi Tanya,

The next dates for the (monthly) YoYogi Park flea market for 2015, will be: June 27th, July 26th, September 6th, October 24th, November 28th, December 27th. But the organizers did not mention anything about May :(

However, if you’re in town in May 2015, you might be able to attend the Tokyo International Forum (which is the Largest outdoor Antique Market in Japan with 250 dealers, according tohttp://www.antique-market.jp). Upcoming date in May: May 17th (from 9:00 to 16:00 – Closed in Case of rain – admission free). Address: 5-1Marunouchi 3 choume,Chiyoda-ku,Tokyo.

Here is one useful resources for the YoYogi Park flea market: http://www.antique-market.jp/english/

      I hope that helps :)
