After a successful first edition in 2012, Design Icons started last year to return annually. In February 7 and 8 2015, sixty international vintage design dealers will return to Amsterdam to showcase an extensive collection of 20th century furniture design in one single place, making of Design Icons the vintage shopping event of Holland. Similar popular events specially organized for original vintage design have already been running for quite a while in Paris, Brussels, Ghent, Berlin and Düsseldorf. That is how the idea came up to invite the vintage professionals for a trade show in the Netherlands.
Design Icons Amsterdam will take place once again at the beautiful venue of De kromhouthal in the North of Amsterdam. This former marine engine factory has been restored into a charming event location/ Situated on the North shore of ’t IJ, there is a beautiful view to the city center.
