Wiet Hekking, founder of Wonderwood

We loved: the outstanding quality and variety of furniture on display, and the warm welcome we were given by Wiet Hekking, the founder of Wonderwood; if he is not kept too busy in his office at the back of the shop, Wiet will probably tell you amazing stories about vintage design and plywood…
Purchase: None. But we got really tempted by an original “Standard Chair” by French architect and designer Jean Prouvé.
